The 30-day window
You have thirty days from the day your parcel is delivered to request a return. Weekends and holidays count — we'd rather be generous than legalistic.
Condition
- Unworn, unwashed, and free of perfume or make-up.
- Original tags still attached.
- Packed in the cotton pouch it arrived in.
Silk evening abayas and ceremonial pieces should be returned without any alterations. Fit adjustments are welcome after the return window, through our repairs service.
How to return
- Email care@khayt.house with your order number and which piece you'd like to return.
- We'll send a prepaid label for parcels inside Egypt, and a discounted label for international returns (deducted from your refund).
- Drop the parcel at any courier point within 14 days.
- We'll email you the moment it arrives, and again when your refund is issued.
Exchanges
Same piece, different size or colour? Tell us in the first email — we'll set the replacement aside for you and ship it as soon as your return is on its way. No second shipping fee.
Final sale
A small number of items are marked Final sale on the product page:
- Archive pieces
- One-of-a-kind remainders.
- Made-to-measure
- Pieces cut to your measurements only.
- Heavily discounted
- Anything beyond 40% off.
These are not eligible for return or exchange — but our repairs service is still yours, for life.
Refunds
Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with, usually within three working days of receiving your return. Duties and original shipping fees (if paid) are not refundable.
A note on faults
If a piece arrives with a fault, or develops one within the first year, please write to us within a reasonable time. We will repair, replace, or refund at no cost to you.
